How to Increase Internet Speed


Every system has a reserved percentage of bandwith. In Windows 7 the system reserved bandwith is 20% but its 80% in Windows 8. You can simply increase your Internet Speed by just decreasing the percentage of bandwith reserved for your system, which you can do by following some simple steps :-

  1. Go to 'Run'.
  2. Search for 'gpedit.msc'
  3. Now you are redirect to 'Local Group Policy Editor'.



  4. Administrative Templates > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler.
  5. Limit Reservable Bandwith.
  6. Select "Enable" & Set the bandwith of your choice.
  7. Apply the Changes and Restart your System.
