Checking RAM type in Windows

Windows built-in Diagnostics is the simplest method to view the details of your computer's internal working.

• Control Panel and 
• Navigate to System and Security 
• Under the System subheading, 
• ‘View amount of RAM and processor speed’.

Clicking on this will bring up some basic specifications for your computer such as memory size, OS type, and processor model and speed.

Step 2:-

However, you must be not satisfied with the content. So, for having more detailed content use any third-party programs. These programs will perform a quick scan and the required information will be displayed. I will recommend you CPU-Z Software.

Step 1:-

For knowing the basic details Apple provides the simplest way.

Click on the Apple Logo and click on "About this Mac"

Step 2:-

Just few clicks and you can have more in-depth specifications for your Mac.

Click on System Report and you have all your Mac's specification separated by different tabs..
