Every system has a reserved percentage of bandwith. In Windows 7 the system reserved bandwith is 20% but its 80% in Windows 8. You can simply increase your Internet Speed by just decreasing the percentage of bandwith reserved for your system, which you can do by following some simple steps :-
- Go to 'Run'.
- Search for 'gpedit.msc'
- Now you are redirect to 'Local Group Policy Editor'.
- Administrative Templates > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler.
- Limit Reservable Bandwith.
- Select "Enable" & Set the bandwith of your choice.
- Apply the Changes and Restart your System.
